We will start you off with full body conditioning. If you can't last three minutes in the ring and can't recover in one minute afterwards, you have no business being there. Boxing is the ultimate workout as it covers everything - strength training, agility, aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity, speed, and of course power.
We will also train you up with the basic boxing skills which you will need should you want to go into the ring and spar with other members in the Adult Boxing Class or go further and take up Amateur Boxing. At The Edinburgh Boxing Academy, we pride ourselves in ensuring that you understand the fundamentals. You will learn these through both Bag work and Pad work with one of our trainers.
